In Department of Mechanical Engineering, we are sending students to overseas universities to support their international exchange experiences and enrich their student life. Although it was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was resumed this year, and one fourth-year student who plans to go on to graduate Osaka Sangyo University Graduate School visited Kasetsart University in Thailand in March.

First, at Kasetsart University, students gave presentations in English on the contents of their graduation research. After that, they had group work with internship students from France and Cambodia. This group work was supported by a biomechanical engineer from Siriraj University, and we worked together with students from various countries, which I think was a very good experience.

In addition, they visited the Royal Thai Air Force Museum, the National Science Museum, and the Space Museum. As the students' research topic is Hall thrusters for space navigation, they were able to see some very interesting exhibits. They were also able to experience Thai culture, which we hope will have a positive impact on their research and student life at Osaka Sangyo University Graduate School.
